Sheikh Qassem: Leaders martyrdom pushes Hezbollah forward

Sheikh Qassem said that marking the anniversary of the Resistance leaders martyrdom, stressing that the party is still following the path of jihad and sacrifice in order to reach the ultimate forward.

(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Hezbollah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem said that marking the anniversary of the Resistance leaders martyrdom aims at expressing appreciation and gratitude for them, introducing them to the new generations and stressing that the party is still following the path of jihad and sacrifice in order to reach the ultimate forward.

Sheikh Qassem added that the martyrdom of the leaders made Hezbollah advance, noting that the Resistance moves forward upon sacrifices.

Holy God’s support, sacrifices and hard work were behind the success of Hezbollah experience, which turned it to be a regional power.

Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah is to deliver a speech on Thursday during the movement’s Martyred Leaders Day ceremony. 

In his speech, the resistance leader is expected to tackle the latest developments in Lebanon and the region. 

On February 16 from every year, Hezbollah holds a ceremony in memory of its martyred leaders, Sheikh Ragheb Harab, Sayyed Abbas Mousawi, and Hajj Imad Moughneieh (was martyred in 2008).
